Ed directs a series of youth tournaments between April and October at Newland Street and PCH in front of the smokestacks.  Players sign up with a teammate and compete for Quiksilver and Roxy prizes.  Sign-in begins at 8:30, pool play begins at 9am sharp and lasts till noon or 1pm.  Playoffs seldom last beyond 3pm, and most matches are finished by 2pm.  There is ample parking directly in front of the courts for $15/day, or families may choose to buy the state parks pass for $125 which lasts a full calendar year, i.e. June-June or August-August. Cars should enter the state park at Magnolia and PCH.
